- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced expertise in data warehouse methodologies, including schema design, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns applied to healthcare analytics.
- 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database design, development, and optimization.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Suite of tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Strong background in healthcare data analysis and analytics, with understanding of healthcare business models, clinical workflows, and healthcare payer/provider operations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions and manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience with Safe Agile methodologies and frameworks in a professional development environment.
- Proficiency with version control systems and established code repository check-in processes.
- Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server (at least one must be demonstrated).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical and healthcare analytics concepts to clinical, operational, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards, healthcare compliance requirements, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations as they pertain to data handling.
Desired skills and experience
- Prior experience working in healthcare analytics, healthcare IT, or healthcare-focused business intelligence environments.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) data services, including AWS Glue, Redshift, or S3.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing advanced Power BI dashboards with complex calculations and interactive healthcare analytics features.
- Experience developing paginated reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI Paginated Reports.
- Hands-on experience with data quality frameworks and data governance practices in healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare domain concepts including risk adjustment, quality measures, payment accuracy, clinical and financial data integration.
- Experience with modern development tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, or similar version control and CI/CD platforms.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for healthcare data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to team knowledge sharing initiatives in healthcare analytics contexts.

Base compensation ranges from $114,000 to $150,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
