Opening available for Senior Software Engineer RCA R&D - Legacy Applications at Cotiviti, Inc. in South Jordan, UT:

Responsibilities

Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite. Analyze, resolve, and/or enhance software related issues/requests originating from internal or external customers. Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll-out. Execute solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability. Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner. Ensure that Cotiviti’s technology standards and best practices are adhered to while developing systems. Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results. Improve and enhance knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement. Mentor other developers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related. Five (5) years of experience in application and database development using Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, VBA, and PowerShell. Work experience to include: Five (5) years of experience working with relational and non-relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and/or Hive; Five (5) years of experience working with ETL processes; Five (5) years of experience working with .NET/VB frameworks; Five (5) years of experience working with SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures and triggers; Five (5) years of experience working with OOA and OOD; and, Querying and working with large sets of data. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 10701 South River Front Pkwy, Suite 200, South Jordan, UT 84095.

 

Base compensation ranges from at least $152,402. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
