Overview

The Senior Program Manager, Contract Compliance Operations, is responsible for establishing operational objectives and work plans and delegating assignments to drive the day-to-day operational activities that support the delivery of Contract Compliance audit programs. This role serves as the organizational hub for tracking timelines, establishing and maintaining key performance metrics, and ensuring audit deliverables progress through each stage efficiently. The Program Manager partners closely with Audit Managers, Directors, and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency, transparency, and timely communication across all programs.

This position focuses on improving workflow efficiency, maintaining accurate weekly reporting, and providing visibility to leadership on audit progress, throughput, and key risks. The Program Manager plays a critical role in organizing information, maintaining structure, and driving accountability so that audits move predictably from planning to completion within established timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely operational reporting for leadership visibility, updating weekly on program status, audit cycle times, and identified risks.
  • Track delivery against defined goals and program metrics for both leadership and individual auditors.
  • Send weekly status summaries to auditors showing progress against expected timelines (e.g., reminders on testing completion or upcoming report deadlines).
  • Coordinate audit setup, data and documentation collection, and quality control of draft reports.
  • Maintain tracking systems for audit timelines and deliverables; follow up with auditors and managers as needed to ensure timely completion.
  • Schedule weekly meetings with audit managers to review current projects, identify blockers, and align on priorities.
  • Coordinate agendas and documentation for client status calls to ensure timely, complete, and consistent communication.
  • Support process documentation, workflow mapping, and improvement initiatives under the guidance of Audit Operations leadership.
  • Establish baseline productivity and time-tracking visibility across Contract Compliance audits within 90 days.
  • Drive structured workflow and accountability cadence to achieve 30–50% faster audit cycle times.
  • Free 1.5–3 FTEs of manager capacity through standardized coordination and reporting (annualized productivity value $150–200K).
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of project or program management experience, preferably in audit operations, project management, program management, shared services, and/or process improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate reporting and follow up with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with workflow or project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday, Power BI) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating across teams and levels.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an appropriate remote office setup.

 

Base compensation ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
