Opening available for Senior Software Engineer - Mainframe at Cotiviti, Inc. in South Jordan, UT:

Perform Mainframe batch scheduling and batch monitoring using IBM Work Schedulers (IWS) to supplement engineering capacity for the Accent environment. Perform the technical configuration of the scheduling software and logic by creating and modifying job streams in IWS to run these jobs according to specifications. Utilize MOVEit file movement software. Design and develop high quality, maintainable software modules for the Cotiviti product suite. Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodology and techniques. Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed designs for implementation. Analyze and resolve software related issues originating from internal or external customers. Continuously update professional knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. Perform change control management. Review software engineering approach to proposed solutions to ensure adherence to best practices. Execute all appropriate facets fo the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement. Collabroate effectively with senior developers, ofshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders. Mentor other developers.

Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience performing Mainframe Batch Scheduling and Batch Monitoring using IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS). In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree and 2 years of experience as stated. Also requiers 1 year of experience with MOVEit file movement software. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Base compensation ranges from $144,955 to $145,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
