Overview

This is a 3-Month TEMPORARY POSITION.

 

The Principal Recruiter is a true strategic business partner to our hiring teams, with the ability to utilize recruitment expertise to effectively partner with managers across assigned departments in proactively sourcing, attracting and hiring the best qualified talent. This role may have specific focus areas, so the Recruiter will need to have solid experience in one of the following: technical recruiting, campus recruiting and building relationships with relevant schools, healthcare industry experience, and/or executive recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute recruitment efforts include scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and performing other tasks related to developing a talent pipeline and filling open positions within the business.
  • Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications, employee referral program.

  • Complete a weekly report on employment activity, exit interview on terminating employees, completion of unemployment claims, representation at unemployment hearings, and finally, orientation of new employees.
  • Develop a “Promote from within” policy, which should be, involved in the posting program. Under this program openings at all levels are posted, and employees can apply for any position for which they feel qualified.
  • Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment such as completing of health employment, and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee’s starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
  • Mentor junior level staff.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3-5 years Human Resource and/or recruiting experience preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills required with a demonstrable knowledge of recruiting tools and methodology. Strong ability to effectively manage tasks, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation and government law.
  • Must have strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Applicant Tracking System - UltiPro, People Fluent and other HRIS software preferred. Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines within time restraints required. Ability to multi-task in a very high volume, dynamic, high exposure position and handle stress in pressure situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, follow-up and interpersonal communication skills essential with strong grammar and writing skills. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Nonexempt employees are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a given week, or as otherwise required by applicable state law.
 
Since this job will be based remotely, all interviews will be conducted virtually.
