Overview

Cotiviti is seeking a Sr Director of Product Marketing to join our Edifecs Product Marketing Team. The Sr Product Marketing Director will play a critical role in several areas of product marketing, including annual and strategic planning, market and competitive research and analysis, product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, including content creation and client presentation support, campaign development and execution, marketing project management, and event support. This associate will be collaborative, strategic, and have the ability to own and move multiple projects forward quickly and simultaneously. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of the healthcare industry, is organized, can understand and simplify complex concepts, is strategic-minded, and develops and maintains collaborative and supportive relationships across a wide variety of people, from executives to technical experts both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • 10% - Annual & Launch Planning. Coordinate with sales, product, and marketing partners to develop comprehensive annual strategic marketing and product launch plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
    • Persona Development. Understand and market to our different types of buyers according to their buying/decision-making influence, needs, values, challenges, etc.
  • 15% - Market & Competitive Research & Analysis. Conduct primary and secondary research on healthcare market dynamics, payer trends, and market opportunities that are relevant to the Edifecs product lines. Perform and maintain competitor research across all product lines.
  • 20% Product Positioning & Messaging. Understand market business problems and how Edifecs solutions can solve them to develop compelling messaging that will strongly resonate with the market and individual personas.
  • 35% Content Creation. Develop original content for brand/thought leadership (blogs, articles, podcasts), demand generation (email, whitepapers, ebooks), product launch and client retention programs (web, presentations, product flyers, case studies). Serve as a subject matter expert and reviewer on press releases and other earned media.
    • Ongoing Collaboration. Continuously partner across marketing, product, and sales to deliver insightful marketing strategies, compelling content, and effective campaigns.
  • 10% Content Calendar Development & Management. Build and manage an editorial calendar for all content needs, purpose, goals, and timelines. Collaborate with internal partners/stakeholders to keep content fresh and timely. Serve as a go-to person for content-related questions.
  • 10% Sales Enablement. Collect, distill, and communicate market research to internal stakeholders via sales playbooks, sell-against documents, and a powerful client-facing deck that helps the sales team position Edifecs above the competition.
  • Hire, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best-in-class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. Required
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance Plan. Required

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business or a relevant field.
  •  7+ years of product marketing experience in healthcare or healthcare IT, interoperability, and related policies.
  •  Experience and knowledge in Value-Based Care and Alternative Payment Models.
  •  Experience conducting primary and secondary market research projects.
  •  Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction under tight, but reasonable, deadlines.
  •  Ability to grasp and simplify complicated concepts.
  •  Self-starter with the ability to design, conduct and report on projects from end-to-end.
  •  Knowledge of how content marketing supports marketing programming with a proven track record (and
  • samples) of building content (collateral, white papers, data sheets) for complicated subject areas.
  • Proven editorial skills with an outstanding command of the English language. Ability to interview subject matter experts and write a compelling story.

Base compensation ranges from $150,000 to $180,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for commission.
