The Professional Services team is seeking a Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in healthcare interoperability to drive strategic, data-driven initiatives that improve healthcare data exchange and integration.This role will lead cross-functional efforts to analyze complex healthcare datasets—claims, member, provider, clinical, and enrollment data—across disparate systems. The Lead BA will define integration strategies, ensure compliance with evolving standards, and deliver solutions that support world-class care and service.
o Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, X12 EDI,
NCPDP, C-CDA
o Expertise in FHIR R4 structure, resource types, profiles, and terminology (LOINC,
SNOMED, ICD)
o Experience with data ingestion and ETL pipelines in healthcare environments
o Proficiency in SQL for data validation and profiling
o Familiarity with data formats: JSON, XML, HL7v2, X12, CSV, pipe-delimited
o Experience with integration tools (e.g., Mirth Connect, InterSystems, AWS Glue, Talend)
o Knowledge of API-based data exchange (FHIR RESTful APIs) and SMART on FHIR
o Experience with HIE systems and clinical data repositories
o Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and complex multi-file healthcare data
structures
o Expertise with healthcare data domains: member, claims, provider, enrollment, and clinical data

Base compensation ranges from $115,000 to $140,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
