Overview

Cotiviti is looking for a senior pricing analyst to join our Finance team. This individual will oversee pricing for all business units and products. This includes support of the evolution and improvement of the price book and pricing process, coordinating price quotes for new opportunities, and helping secure favorable outcomes for key client renewals. This role will partner with leaders across Cotiviti to drive financial growth while ensuring contracts are market competitive and meet profitability expectations. This is a highly visible role that is critical to Cotiviti’s overall growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders from Sales, Client Engagement, Operations, and Legal to execute new client contracts and existing client contract renewals.
  • Quote prices for individual opportunities utilizing Cotiviti’s pricing philosophy.
  • Build complex pricing models for non-standard new client sales opportunities and existing client renewals.
  • Follow Cotiviti’s pricing process, including timely quoting, discount authority management, and outcome tracking/reporting. Suggest, support, and implement improvements to the process.
  • Explore alternative pricing models that address market trends, protect Cotiviti’s financial position, and align incentives between Cotiviti and its clients.
  • Become an expert on Cotiviti’s product portfolio to offer unique insights to financial and strategy discussions.
  • Build presentations and other materials for both internal and client-facing executive briefings.
  • Support as needed the FP&A business partnership with the Sales and Client Engagement executive leaders.
  • Be prepared to take on ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering required.  Master's degree and/or additional relevant work experience preferred.
  • 5+years of related work experience required.
  • Strong financial modeling skills. Ability to create pricing structures and unit-driven P&L analysis with sensitivity/multiple scenarios.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders across multiple functions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytic skills, including the ability to derive insights from large/abstract data sets and summarize for executive consumption.
  • Creativity and the ability to work through ambiguous requests under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Base compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
