- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of application design & development experience, including enterprise-grade design and solutioning.
- 3+ years of hands-on Appian design and development experience in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in application architecture patterns (apian specific), integration design, and workflow orchestration.
- Hands-on in Appian Expression Language (AEL) to define logic in interfaces, process models, rules, and more.
- Designed and modeled relational databases (RDBMS) with a focus on normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
- Implemented caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to enhance application performance and reduce database load.
- Knowledge about Appian UX design implementation
- Knowledge of Appian AI capabilities desired.
- Proficient in REST API design and integration, SSO, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Experience in building scalable, secure, and observable workflow solutions.
- Familiarity with Appian plugins, Appian RPA, Data Fabric, and Appian DevOps toolchain.
- Strong understanding of agile development practices, preferably SAFe.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills; ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Appian Senior Developer certification or higher.
- Background in Healthcare IT, especially payer systems or payment integrity solutions.
- Experience helping establish an Appian CoE or similar platform enablement model.
- Exposure to business architecture or experience translating business capabilities into technical solutions.
- Experience advocating for and socializing low-code strategy within an enterprise setting.

Base compensation ranges from $105,000 to $145,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
