Overview

The CIR Manager works with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the enterprise to provide written responses to client information requests (CIRs) and questionnaires. The CIR Manager is responsible for managing the prioritization of CIR requests, negotiating due dates with submitters, escalating issues to senior leadership where appropriate, fostering cross functional communication, and coordinating cross-departmental responses to ensure timely and professional responses to CIR submitters.


The CIR Manager reviews completed requests to ensure responses are reasonable, complete, professionally written, and consistently applied throughout the request; ensuring all responses protect and promote the Cotiviti brand. The CIR Manager also works with enterprise subject matter experts to create and improve boilerplate responses, resolve response gaps, and identify supplemental documentation that can be reused in future responses.


The CIR Manager also helps to maintain the Q&A repository by scrubbing content to load into the system or updating existing content. This position also keeps documents current on the IT-SEC Tracker SharePoint site and helps to maintain the information housed in SecureDocs.


This position works closely with the Director of CIR Operations to include recommending improvements to and updating CIR standard operating procedures and workflows. This person helps to identify new opportunities to ingest additional request types, promoting a centralized enterprise function for client requests establishing and managing transition plans to avoid interruptions in service or performance.


The CIR Manager is responsible for status reporting and adhering/maintaining CIR department performance metrics. Additional duties may also include leading projects to implement departmental applications or tools to improve CIR departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Owns all aspects of managing client information requests and questionnaires used to vet Cotiviti’s operational, security and compliance posture.
  • Follows standard operating procedures for managing client documents.
  • Coordinates and manages client documents by collaborating and soliciting responses from multi-departmental subject matter experts.
  • Participates in CIR Governance Team meetings and reviews, works with the CIR Governance board to resolve operational gaps.
  • Supports software application implementations to promote process automation that results in CIR team performance, process optimization, and promote organizational efficiencies.
  • Establishes and refines department standard operating procedures; institute changes to optimize operations.
  • Fosters cross-functional communications and coordination to execute CIR requests.
  • Works with functional areas and department leads to identify opportunities to ingest functional requests into the CIR function; Manages and executes transition plans.
  • Supports rolling reviews and updates of standard documentation used to support CIR responses, which includes CIR Governance Team reviews and approvals.
  • Provides weekly CIR progress reports, as needed, to the CIR team, subject matter experts and leadership.
  • Maintains CIR department performance metrics and reporting.
  • Monitors, manages, and works to resolve CIR departmental risks, issues and escalations; regularly briefing leadership and coordinating support needed for resolution.
  • Works with enterprise leaders to ensure there are subject matter experts in place to provide responses.
  • Performs and manages all Securedocs (virtual data room) administrative activities.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5 years of health care industry experience with a health plan, TPA, or vendors of data analytics or claims processing technologies is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading efforts to produce client deliverables such as sales requests for proposals, proposals, business reviews, questionnaires, or audits.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple client deliverables simultaneously that require the coordination of cross-functional expertise.
  • Experience with vendor assessments and/or security and compliance questionnaires strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills. Proven success in preparing written client deliverables that convey information critical to the client. Ability to listen and understand information and ideas whether presented verbally or written.
  • Formal training in enterprise project management and process management preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint a must.
  • Experience with Qvidian software highly desirable.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • No adverse environmental conditions are expected.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

 

 

Base compensation ranges from $66,000 to $90,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
