Overview

Sr. Implementation Consultant is a post-sales position that focuses on individual clients and implementing Cotiviti solutions purchased by that client. The Consultant will generally be involved in installing, configuring, and overseeing the implementation of Cotiviti products at client sites. This includes installation of products on Cotiviti or client hardware; configuration and development of programs, tasks and guidelines, to fully implement an Cotiviti solution based upon a client’s specific needs. The Implementation Consultant will be the primary Professional Services technical resource and will interface with the client’s technical resources. Duties can range from delivering product training to new client-specific requirements, development, and deployment. The role involves client coordination and communication as well as a high technical understanding of Cotiviti's Enrolment Management solution as well as the transactions that flow through this position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with the client post-sales to develop an implementation plan for implementing and configuring a purchased Cotiviti solution based upon a client’s individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the Cotiviti Implementation Architect / Technical Project Manager to formulate the architecture, implementation strategy/schedule and operational plan.
  • Install, upgrade and configure Cotiviti products at client site.
  • Integrate Cotiviti products with other software assets/processes at customer site.
  • Coordinate with other Professional Services, Product and Development team members to meet development and configuration milestones, being able to develop guidelines, programs, tasks, reports, etc. to meet the client’s requirements.
  • Provide post- implementation support during the transition from implementation to maintenance.
  • Provide software and client specific training, and develop training documentation based on present standards and client needs.
  • Mentor and train internal teams upon Cotiviti products and customer custom components
  • Work with customer as a SME upon purchased Cotiviti ENR product
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills required. Must be comfortable interacting with client’s technical teams.
  • Must be able to manage or participate in the testing and release cycle tasks for deployment of Cotiviti products and services at client sites.
  • Must be able to create detailed user and operational documentation to support the deployment of products and services at client sites.
  • Must be comfortable delivering technical training at customer sites as part of the customer's software release and deployment cycle.
  • Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to independently manage all technical aspects of a customer implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technology-related program or equivalent experience in implementing and operating Java stack-based enterprise applications.
  • 6 years of experience in enterprise software solution implementation.
  • 6 years of experience managing, working in, or developing and deploying Java or Middleware-based applications using at least one technology such as webMethods, IBM Websphere, TIBCO BusinessWorks, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle GlassFish, Oracle JCaps, or related technologies.
  • 6 years of experience in using software life-cycle methodologies such as waterfall, agile scrum in developing products and IT applications.
  • 6 years of experience in using software engineering tools for configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build, and deployment.
  • 3 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping and EDI analysis.
  • 3 years of experience working with EDI concepts and HIPAA Transaction sets including Claim, ERA, Eligibility, Enrollment, and Claim Status.
  • 4 years of demonstrated knowledge (within the past 8 years) of new technologies, integrations, platforms, frameworks, and technical applications.
  • 2 years (within the past 6 years) leading and implementing complex distributed solutions for the healthcare industry.
  • Experience creating documents including technical requirements, process flow diagrams, deployment, and user operation guides.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed – as much as 50%.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This remote role can be located anywhere in the continental US.
  • Travel requirement up to 20%.
  • After-hours and/or weekend work may be required where necessary for major deliverables /deadlines.
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions are expected.

 

Base compensation ranges from $115,000.00 to $155,000.00. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
