Overview

We are seeking 4 interns to work on low-code development projects on our dynamic team. The interns will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidates will have experience with some of these Microsoft technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Azure AI Studio, Co-Pilot and DataVerse as well as proficiency in one other language, such as Python. Two of the four positions could potentially lead to a full-time position upon completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Utilize Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Azure AI Studio, Co-Pilot and/or DataVerse to create innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis when necessary.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current students in a Bachelor’s program in any related technical field - graduating seniors are strongly preferred.
  • 0-1 years' experience developing software, with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, and Azure AI Studio.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in one software development language, such as Python.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

 

Base compensation ranges from $21.00 to 24.00 per hour. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

 

Since this job will be based remotely, all interviews will be conducted virtually.
