Overview

The Project Manager will oversee multidimensional projects that support Yield Management Operations, focusing on both daily workloads and corporate-funded strategic priorities. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Audit Operations, this role will collaborate with various teams at Cotiviti, including Audit Operations, Client Engagement, Client Implementations, and Engineering. The Project Manager will lead process optimization workstreams, track project milestones, report on monthly KPIs, gather requirements, document key work products, and drive user testing of new tools. This role will promote accountability and transparency within the Operating team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of project deliverables.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, collaborating with technical and business personnel.
  • Review deliverables prepared by the team before they are presented to the client.
  • Define project scope, critical path, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements. Develop multiple full-scale project plans and associated communication documents, identifying needed resources and assigning/tracking individual responsibilities.
  • Create and maintain project status documents and hold regular status meetings with the project team. Encourage the team to work together efficiently, keeping track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members.
  • Clearly define, document, and apply Cotiviti methodology and enforce project standards. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Review contract language and record key SOW criteria and pricing clauses that impact the business.
  • Lead monthly client issue scrum team call to document and address ongoing client issues affecting the operation.
  • Minimize company exposure and risk on projects and identify opportunities for improvement. Make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or similar preferred or equivalent.
  • 5 years’ related experience required, with 2+ years’ experience in enterprise level project management.
  • Certification in project management (PMI, PMP) or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, SCRUM and agile software development practices.
  • Proven experience in management, planning, risk assessment and mitigation, and change control with ability to manage multiple projects and meetings in a fast-paced environment with internal and external teams.
  • Experience managing project life cycle from initial proof of concept through approval, development, delivery, and implementation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders outside the team facilitating issue and risk resolution.
  • Ability to manage cross-team projects.
  • Ability to build relationships across teams and other departments to facilitate successful delivery of projects.
  • Ability to manage several projects in various states in parallel.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions are expected.

Base compensation ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
